Gridwiz Enhances Economic Value of ESS by 35% Through Solution Replacement
A new technology that improves the economic performance of energy storage systems (ESS) by up to 30% through advanced operational solution replacement has been developed and commercialized, significantly boosting the value proposition of ESS.
Gridwiz, a leading energy solutions provider (CEO: Koo-Hwan Kim), announced on March 10 that it successfully completed the replacement of a 5MWh ESS operational solution for Company A, a major mobility components manufacturer, this January. With this success, Gridwiz plans to accelerate its “ESS Optimization Initiative.”
Since 2017, the domestic ESS market has grown rapidly, securing global competitiveness. However, a series of fire incidents led to a market slowdown. As a result, challenges such as aging installations, difficulties in maintenance, and declining system efficiency have emerged, increasing the need for solutions that can maximize operational efficiency.
