Gridwiz Launches New DER Gateway

Gridwiz announced on the 18th that it has developed and launched its DER (Distributed Energy Resource) Gateway, which complies with the SunSpec IEEE 2030.5/CSIP certification—the North American smart grid inverter communication standard—and the global DER grid interconnection standard IEEE 1547.
The DER Gateway is an ICT-based grid communication device that enables remote control, real-time monitoring, demand response (DR), and grid support by integrating with various DERs such as solar inverters, energy storage systems (ESS), EV chargers, and V2G (Vehicle to Grid) systems.
